SB Productions Psychological Horror Short 12 HOURS Embarks on Festival Run

12 HOURS is a psychological horror short film directed and written by Mohamed A. Bere, which is set to kick off its festival circuit. The film delves into themes of fear, vulnerability, and survival, offering an immersive viewing experience.
The plot centers around Emily, a young caregiver who takes on a 12-hour shift at a remote home owned by the seemingly kind yet unsettling Ms. Maple. Emily is tasked with caring for Ms. Maple’s quiet, wheelchair-bound son, Eric. Initially seeing this as an opportunity to stabilize her life, she soon finds the atmosphere within the home becoming increasingly unsettling.
The film is executive produced by Sharmarke Mohamed and actress-producer Eve Richards, co-founders of SB Productions. It features performances by Mimi Dybs, Hettie Lynn Hurtes, and Reid Schmidt. With Bere’s direction and Richards’ production efforts, the film aims to create a compelling narrative that resonates with audiences.
